The thermoelectric cooler controller is a device for regulating the temperature of the thermoelectric cooler (TEC) module. TEC is a solid-state device. When voltage is applied to one side of the module, it can heat or cool the system by transferring heat from one side of the module to the other. The thermoelectric cooler controller monitors the temperature of the system and adjusts the voltage applied to the TEC to maintain the desired temperature. It usually includes temperature sensor, microcontroller and power stage driving TEC.
